Rev Dr Zaria Davis

Rev. Dr. Zaria Davis is a compassionate spiritual care provider, mentor, educator, and advocate dedicated to fostering healing, restoration, and transformation. An ordained minister with the United Church of Christ, she holds a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) from Capella University, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Eden Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wilberforce University.

A certified reiki practitioner, restorative practices trainer, and healing circles facilitator, Dr. Davis specializes in trauma-informed care and addressing harm. She is also trained in Mental Health First Aid, equipping her to guide others through challenging circumstances with empathy and expertise.

Her passion lies in advocating for individuals impacted by oppressive systems, with a focus on the criminal legal system and workplace equity. Dr. Davis provides leadership development, wellness planning, and restorative practices training for individuals, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations. She has collaborated with national organizations on pretrial reform and improving access to higher education.

Through New Direction Coaching & Consulting, LLC, Dr. Davis offers coaching, consulting, presentations, facilitation, and public speaking engagements nationwide. She integrates her love for nature into her healing and wellness work, inspiring others to find balance and restoration in their personal and professional lives.
