Nancy Fortunato

Nancy Fortunato Parent Advocate with lived experience.

Nancy was a graduate in Child Welfare Organizing Project parent leadership curriculum. She later worked for Risemagazine and was a Senior Parent, Leader. Nancy work as a Parent Advocate for the Center for Human Development and for the Jewish Child Care Association. She is currently on the Bright Future Parent Committee, Parent Legislative Action Network Coalition and a Peer- Navigator at Justice for Family. She successfully completed the course as a Credible Messenger from The Institute of Transformative Mentoring at the New School in 2019 and graduated from the LOHM in 2021.
